It's not up to me who replies coffee.gif

There was a good market for those bags in Florence when I visited a few weeks ago. Young guys unfolding their white sheets in the streets displaying loads of fake bags for sale. Quite amusing watching them pack up as quickly as possible to avoid trouble each time the police went by grin.gif

Will be interesting to see how she, or perhaps it is a he/she, now responds to your post on the eBay message board, especilly given the tone of her previous messages 169144-ok.gif

Interestingly under Italian law it is the purchaser who is guilty rather than the trader - probably something to do with it being easier to catch & fine an American tourist who can only run slowly than an African sprinter/immigrant !

I stood watching some guys selling fake LV bags directly outside the LV shop in Puerto Banus Harbour last year. At least the customers could compare the products there and then laugh.gif

I think she'll have a bit of a wake up call when reading those replies, and dont trust her she could well be trying to scam you beerchug.gif

Also notice her thread title on ebay "SOLD A FAKE ITEM ON EBAY" shes admitted it

Good stuff!

Have you checked her feedback?

Took 2 weeks to pay! Offered full refund, item couldn't be that bad!

The item was that bad as the two shades of blue clashed! Gave it away to Charity

WT?! She's clearly a nutter.

I mean honestly, who would buy Helly Hansen?

Take it to a small claims court by all means, but I can guarantee you the magistrate will ask you to leave on the grounds that you are wasting your time. I can tell you that for certain because I AM a lawyer.

You were doing fine until you said "magistrate" rather than "judge". bike.thumb.gif

any developements?

[/ QUOTE ]

In her ebay dispute on the 20th she has said once again that I knew full well the bag was a fake and "this isn't over yet" and has apparently made a claim through ebay, although I've had no other contact from them.

We'll see what happens, I appreciate the support 169144-ok.gif

It is a magistrate in the small claims court.

[/ QUOTE ]

No it isn't. Small claims cases are heard in the county court by a judge.

169144-ok.gif Dead right. There's no such thing as a Small Claims Court, and there ain't any magistrates in 'em.
