Dave
My dad went to pick up his new E320 CDI.. very nice in black with the AMG kit.. 18" alloys, drilled disks, COMAND etc, and guess what.. Mum saw a CLK-Class Cabriolet so she thought she would have that too I'll get some piccies soon... It's all good though cause i'm at work paying for it all [i'm actually really pleased for them because they've worked hard over the years and deserve their toys.. I was lucky enough to walk into an established business, most of it down to their hard work ]
Dave
For those of you into your mercs it's Obsidian Black, with black leather with white stitching. The roof lining is white also with panoramic glass sunroof. It also has the Harman/Kardon stereo and has the sports set up. Very nice

330dcoupe
The Mercedes E320 cdi is a superb piece of kit. Great cruising, excellent economy and if you re-map it - goes like sh*t of a greased stick.
330dcoupe
and to add...my dad's only ever had 2 problems with it - a dodgy battery and a bust shock absorber (own doing i reckon, so not a build issue)
CarMad
Nice get some photos up Dave. I quite like the look of the new C from some angles but its god damn slow. The thing must be very heavy, all the magazines are saying that even with the 320CDI isn't that quick, especially compared to rivals.

Dave
Here's a quick picture of the new motor.. Sorry for the quality, Dad's just on his way back up to Bristol! ACA_Chap
Dave I've got virtually the identical car and although I'm really pleased with it, I can really recommend a remap. I appreciate your dad is 63 (and I'm 26 ) but the improvement to torque makes it a much more driveable and improves MPG. I came back from Val D'Isere yesterday and the car was excellent. So refined at speed and very comfortable, even for four 6ft+ blokes. Great car (I would say that !) Edit: If you want a recommendation for a tuner - let me know! I had Merc Service 24hr come out in France and the techie was really impressed with the power band.
Dave
Yea, i took it for a spin yesterday and i have to say i was very impressed. The engine is a quiet as can be and has more than enough poke for him.. Just looked at the photo above.. does driving a merc allow you to park on double yellows?
