Woppum
[ QUOTE ] well not really, 150k aint alot of money in this day and age, certainly wouldnt buy u a fleet of "new" ferraris and porsches! Besides what the hell is 150k when you've got a mayback, ferrari 430, S600, etc etc [/ QUOTE ] Didnt mean to make it sound nobbish, I just wanted to put my experianced point of view forward on the Maybach as most seem to think it is a total waiste of time. Money is always money and you have to be mad or a total flash harry not to care about spending it. When you work hard, have customers and know the value of the pound buying a Maybach isnt a rational decison becasue its not worth it, its a means of transport! You have to just say do I want it if you do, that makes it worth it.

Consider a private jet, jet helicopter or large cruiser / yacht and the running costs. I'd also add in the fact that 95% of peeps buying expensive exotica will do so via a Co / Corp umbrella. Thus the deprecation is GOOD for offset on profit and Corporation tax. Only a fool would run a multi million pound business empire and not run a fleet of expensive cars via the business. Choice- Higher tax bills or very decent car, mostly offset by deprecation claw backs and adding back the tax due to the driver via super Car allowance schemes. I've heard of someone who has a gross £60k a year added just to offset car tax liabilities
