If you have - We Need Your Immediate Help smile.gif

Here is the bit we need from UK owners, past and present - http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=62699

Some history of the issue - We ran a survey and 77% of owners said that they had issues with DRC - http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=59811

Similar initiative in the US - Audi USA also seem to have issues recognising this fault - http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=62147

Many owners have been unable to get a long term to the DRC system. Signs of failure are sometimes associated with an ABS feel in the throttle over small bumps, and poor handling through corners. There are questions over how well the equipped the dealerships are to re-pressurise the systems when repairs are carried out. The aim of this action is to try to encourage Audi GmbH to provide a long term solution to this problem.

I'm sure PeterB has had the shock absorbers replaced on his RS6 a couple of years ago after they started leaking.

[/ QUOTE ]There has also been one confirmed DRC shock leaking on a brand new customer delivered RS4 in USA, it happened as soon as the car was driven out of the dealership... I think this is a isolated incident though.

I hope a long term fix is available.

Inanely Audi would only replace one as the oppsoite front 'wasn't leaking any more than normal'. Cretins. openfire.gif

I know of two 2003 models with this problem. One lives just down the road from me, and his was away for around seven weeks on and off. The other persons was my former boss, and his was in at the same time for the same fault for a similar duration. Both appear to be cured now. The initial fault started as leaking shocks as described by others.

The DRC on the RS4 is different to the RS6 Riz.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes I think the RS4 uses a oil-pressure based system that controls the circuit smile.gif

It seems that so far the first generation RS4 and RS6 have had issues.....

RS4 = bendy wheels

RS6 = DRC failures

Not is certainly not the time to change your mind and buy. Not unless you go for an early one that has already depreciated a chunk.

Yes, all pretty well correct - A rear shock failed on mine, Audi were out of parts. The car was so unsettled that I refused to drive it in that condition. The one leaking shock was replaced and I've had no further problems.

... oh, and I'm back here for a while, having caught up after my second trip to the Philippines! smile.gif

HI IM AN AUDI TECH AND THERE CASES OF DAMPERS LEAKING OIL ON THE RS6 (PATICULARLY THE AVANT),WHEN THEY ARE REPLACED THEY MUST BE SETUP CORRECTLY OR THE CAR PITCHES AND ROLLS.

I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL DEALER TO BE SETUP.
