Brabus
You can no longer order the "current" 580 bhp version RS6, new face-lifted model available in Jan-Feb 2009! Confirmed at the Geneva motorshow. Changes will include small face-lift, new MMI computer but mechanically essentially the same.
Mook
So Audi introduce a new car. Sell out of it then confirm they're going to facelift it within a year...

[/ QUOTE ] Daft, isn't it? Audi admit to being pressured into building the current RS6 as demand was so high. Some people just can't wait
Mook
How many have they built for the first round? I'm curious to know how many people have taken leave of their senses.
Brabus
Less than 1,000. For example, Switzerland will only get about 90. Watch as these models depreciate quicker than a quick thing Good news is that the new one *could* look more agressive.
Dave
To be honest that just confirms my suspicions that they were too expensive and weren't selling.
mark88
Is this the new RS6 that hasn't even been seen over here yet????

You have to move quickly to keep up with Audi. Literally! Personally I like the sublte looks. Part of the appeal. Sleeper shooting-brake shell. Bomb blast biturbo brutality. http://www.autocarmagazine.com/contentImages//Car/Audi/A6/62883343.jpg
Merlot
Excellent, the 'old' one will be nice and cheap, nice and fast, especially after what the Chancellor is going to do on Wednesday.
Sc00t
Just wait till Wednesday for the new road full licence to come out. Ok for the few that dont have a problem in spending £80000+ on a vehicle that will do no more than 250 on a £75 tank of fuel but it looks like the road fund licence for these types of vehicles will be over £1000 soon. Merlot
What a bizarre story. So Audi has admitted that the whole A6 range is to be facelifted six months before it happens.
