All I can see they've done is take the Scirocco front end, the Touareg rear lights and teh Eos dash. But I'm sure someone will tell us different...

Sounds like a pretty accurate description if you ask me, Mook. Not sure if I like the '6 yet or not. Some images I have seen get my attention, some have the opposite effect. I do like the black Monza's though.

What'll it be CJ?
Think i will be going back to bmw Mook.The 1series Coupe has grown on me reminds me of the E30's i once owned.

Space is not a big deal but must be an uplifting drive which i am sure it will be.

Nothing wrong with vw but feel its time for a change..+++

....I would be doing exactly the same if I was moving from VW - I too had an older BMW (lovely 2-door straight-six). However, just having to pickup a large office chair this afternoon yet again shows me how practical my 5-door GTI is.

Enjoy the Beemer! +++

.....Just looking ahead Red as still getting the feel good factor from my ED30..+++
:grin: Proves the mk5 must have been a bad design :P as it attracted BMW drivers in there droves.;) VW must be back on track with the mk6 as its repelling them again, yipee

:jump:

lol ;)

Yes- definitely think Bmw are back on form.Interesting you think vw have it right with the MkVI as most Dubbers think its a MkV with a MkIV interior and a Scirocco front end,as will the new Polo.Not exactly innovative is it?Drive certainly sounds down on the MkV which both surprises/concerns me.I would have expected vw to have done better especially with the increased price tag..:Slap: Edited by CJ92

All the MK6 GTIs I've seen to date have tinted windows from the B pillar back. I hope VW are not going to put this on as standard (like they've done with Golf GT). Why alienate buyers who, like me, don't want this feature? It's a £185 cost option so if you want it, spec it. Personally, I dislike rear tinted windows that much, if they are standard, I don't think I'd buy the car!

....I agree. I hate rear tints - Chav! Bling! Pretentious! and makes a car look like a van. :finger:
