Mook
All I can see they've done is take the Scirocco front end, the Touareg rear lights and teh Eos dash. But I'm sure someone will tell us different...

But I'm sure someone will tell us different... Sounds like a pretty accurate description if you ask me, Mook. Not sure if I like the '6 yet or not. Some images I have seen get my attention, some have the opposite effect. I do like the black Monza's though.

CJ92
What'll it be CJ?Think i will be going back to bmw Mook. The 1series Coupe has grown on me reminds me of the E30's i once owned.Space is not a big deal but must be an uplifting drive which i am sure it will be. Nothing wrong with vw but feel its time for a change..

However, just having to pickup a large office chair this afternoon yet again shows me how practical my 5-door GTI is. Enjoy the Beemer!

Snoopy
Proves the mk5 must have been a bad design as it attracted BMW drivers in there droves. VW must be back on track with the mk6 as its repelling them again, yipee lol Edited October 21, 2008 by Snoopy

Timski
All the MK6 GTIs I've seen to date have tinted windows from the B pillar back. I hope VW are not going to put this on as standard (like they've done with Golf GT). Why alienate buyers who, like me, don't want this feature? It's a £185 cost option so if you want it, spec it. Personally, I dislike rear tinted windows that much, if they are standard, I don't think I'd buy the car!

Tarmac_Terrorist
Not sure what the real purpose is for rear tints....drug dealing perhaps, hiding ones identity whilst gunning down rival gang members? They seem to be the 'must have' option on those MPV / Mummy bus / loser cruiser things. - Undertakers also have them on their initial collection cars. Chav
hey that mk VI in those vids looks much better than the Mk V I always thought the MK V looks girly. (no offence - just looks tame) MK IV R32 still the machoest golf looks wise, but I bet the MK VI R32 will look pretty bloody good!!
RedRobin
.... Agreed (for once! ) Chav, that the Mk4 R32 looks the machoest but there isn't gonna be a Mk6 R32 - There might be a R version of the Mk6 GTI though - That's what's rumoured, but not a V6 or even twin-turbo 5-cyl like the future TT-RS.
