Gaunty
So, I was trying to remove this sticker I bought off Colin last year at Buxton, man that was hard work, it didn't want to come off at all. You know the stickers, the clear ones that you get from some car forums to advertise them. Anyway, I had to use a Stanley knife blade in the end and be really careful not to damage the heated window elements in the process, I was shitting myself! Anyone else tryed to remove one of these recently and if so how did you do it?
Mac
Externals are a bitch to get off, haven't done mine yet cos it means cleaning the Windows properly.
Snail
I found a combination of long nails (well to start with anyway) and washing up liquid did the trick for me.
s4dreamer
Hadn't thought about taking mine off Gaunty until you mentioned it, but I put it so low down in the rear window that it'll be a PITA to get to anyway. Thanks for the heads up on the difficulty of removing it. Perhaps now you're an expert you can come and get mine off for me ?
Drillslinger
Have you ever seen an item called "Goo-Gone"? It's made for that specific purpose, and doesn't seem to harm paint. In my last apartment, we taped the rugs down with duct tape, and after 3 years, it left some nasty crap on the floor. But we used the Goo-Gone, and it all came off quite easily.
