So any shots fired are purely for the banter. [/ QUOTE ]Oh, no pretense about winning the war for you but I'm sure there are many folk over there who remember and appreciate the 'leg-up' we gave, eh? random006
Aren't they also known as "Ha-Ha"s? Here in the Province of Quebec there is a small town called "St. Louis-de-Ha-Ha!" Yes, there is an exclamation point. I'm sure it was all very innocent, probably the view and all. However, I'd drive very carefully whilst there. John_Doe
[ QUOTE ] I just resigned my commission at CarTalkCanada due to a disagreement with Admin on the directions on our forum. I had my stripes removed and therefore walked out the front door with my pride. I am too hard on trolls apparently. Kind of sad after +9000 posts and three years . It has been an interesting few days to say the least. I may have to hang out here for a while. [/ QUOTE ] Welcome Snowman...can we have some pics of your car please??? HotRodSaint
The question remains...why did he choose a '04 Cadillac Deville to add to his virtual fleet?? The claim to own an Escalade, was probably MTVs fault. But he claimed to own a boring Deville (sorry Cadillac forum members)!!?? I own a Cadillac (with a 5.7 liter 'Chevy' motor), but if I was making 5 million US per year, it would not be the first car I'd go out and purchase. Ok it might be, as I prefer the road less traveled. But it'd at least have an LT4 head conversion and supercharger with a tubbed rear end and bigger tires to handle the 500+ HP it would be generating. And it will, oneday!! But if I was making that kind of dough in my 'virtual' world, I'd have 'virtually' purchased a 400hp Cadillac CTS-V and claimed to have taken the pride out of some German car owners on the backroads!! A claim that could be substantiated.
P_G
Oh dear, American bragging about superior machinery again! Tell you what, give me the cash difference between an S4 and the CTS-V and I'll have a few mods installed on the S4 with the cash difference that'll trounce the CTS-V and still have change for the magnum of Champagne to celebrate the victory. garcon magnifique
I would imagine that (in the States at least) the CTS-V is cheaper than an S4.
