[/ QUOTE ] What the fact that she was a cleaner, or the fact you cant buy shares? The company I work at is private, so I suppose yes private shares are allocated, but the public cant have any! fatcat
At long last Wopps you made a decision, and a worthy one at that. Get those trackday lessons under your belt (not necessarily in your car) and really drive the car on the track, there are lot's of company's out there that do trackday insurance and a man of your means, cost should not be an issue. Get a spare set of wheels with cups on for trackdays, the cups make 100% improvement in the right conditions. No point in doing an R32 v CSL review as they are such different cars and in vastly different leagues and such any like for like comparison would be almost worthless as a means of comparison. I wonder how much it will be worth against your new M3 come trade in time ? Did you ever get any such figures ? Good luck with the car.

Woppum
[ QUOTE ] Did you ever get any such figures ? [/ QUOTE ] I spoke to many dealers and specialists, and all said the same 'how long is a piece of string'. My feeling is I will get early to mid 20's for the CSL come trade in within 3 years... But I have had more than enough time to deal with worst case scenarios! What is interesting was I was originally 21 on the list for the new M3. I have just got the written confirmation from the dealer which now states im number 5 for the coupe??? I wonder if there was a mix up, or if many people have dropped out? I plan to swap it, but I can see myself properly falling in love with the CSL and possibly finding the new M3 a disappointment dynamically... But don't worry, of course there will be a thread E46 CSl vs E90 M3 which will eventually get locked in due course
