Alarm went off at 0700. At Sainsburys by 0720, 2nd in queue! Had game (plus some other bits and bobs) and was on my way home by 0820. All pretty uneventful really.

I just have to send my £36 copy from Tesco back, when it finally arrives.

My local Sainsburys opened at 8am, I arrived at 747am, saying to myself there's not gonna be a queue, all the geeks would have been at the games shopes last night!

But as I pulled into the carpark I was greeted by a 100m long queue of folk ranging in age from OAPs right through to hopeful 10 year olds.

In the 10 minutes I waited the queue doubled, but as soon as the doors opened the line went down fairly quickly.

I was out by 815am with a copy.

Happy days, got tomorrow of work to!

Guess i'll see some of you online over the next few weeks.

Went to Asda last night just before midnight, what a shocker... the car park was almost full, never in my life have I seen it that full around this time. Told my friend ermmmm I bet its for MW2 as a joke..... no joke! Omfg...... there must have been over 200-250 people lined up the length of the store and then round to the back

Had a chat with the first buyers, they had been waiting since 9pm.....

Anyway I left it :(

Went in just after 7am this morning and nabbed a copy.. woohooo..... :):D:grin:

Going to finish story mode first before hitting the online areana.......

Ahh, so Sponge is Lead Affinity... :roflmao:

I've not been able to play much of it today. I got an hour or so in when my wife/kids were out/napping. But then they came back. :ffs: Wifey made me turn it off, as it was making the kids stare - "Daddy, why did you shoot that man? Daddy, will he wake up soon? Daddy, what's all that red stuff?" :uhoh:

My copy arrived yesterday, but I've not had time to open the package, let alone play the game!

Lats night was Karate training, as is Thursday and I am out tonight and Friday.

In any case, my projector screen is currently broken (stuck in the 'up' position), so I'd have to move the PS3 into the lounge to play on the Plasma, which is not going to go down too well with my wife......

Maybe I can send her out shopping for the day and will get a chance to play at the weekend?!+++

What is the general opinion - I've seen some mixed reviews mainly positive for the gameplay and graahics etc but with some connection issues for the on-line modes which is a major concern given the 'downloading games setting' problems with the previous version of the game.

If this is still an issue then this is extremely poor.

Seemed fine to me last night...

The thing to remember is that you need to level-up, so stepping off from COD4:MW and having all your weapons and game modes enabled and then starting from scratch is a little....annoying isn't the word, slightly frustrating.

I only play hardcore online so having to play regular games yesterday was different. Good news is the only solution is to kill more!

There are some novel weapons and the scoring has gone out of control - you get points for anything and everything....

No real connection issues - in fact, they've added a natty feature (on the xbox at least) that resumes a game within seconds if a host leaves.

So far so good I think - I'm finding it a little harder to see enemies than on COD4:MW but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
