Aventador (with (not very good!) pics)

What did it sound like?

I only really heard it pushing a few thousand revs but it was very growly - like a C63 with a sore throat! It turned onto the A448 as I carried on along the A38 so I heard it howl a bit but it was damp and the driver shifted up quite quickly. The note definitely changed as the revs built a bit though and it started to scream rather than bellow. Would have loved to have heard it drive by with the pedal buried.

Agree and understand everything said about lambos in the past. The trouble is, IMHO, lambo have made a car so good this time around it appeals to not just playboys but petrolheads. For example I want one! Never wanted one before. Also would love a black superleggy 570. Where Ferrari have gone dsg auto boxy mainstream lambo have kept where they are resulting in a more hardcore thrilling drive. Lambos used to be more show than go, now they finally have the go to match the show.. Just wish there was slightly less show...

That's exactly why a Lambo has to have them +++

A manufacturer making the most extreme cars on the planet. Extreme designs, including "those" doors are part and parcel. Fooking demon looking car though, eh!

Just seen another Aventador at the end of our road in that stunning bronzy burnt orange colour (I know, no use without piccies) with 4-digit number plate. Didn't have my phone with me as was off to a spin class, but fooking hell does that car have some serious presence. Incredible car, especially in that fantastic colour.
