bmwsean
My two-car garage cleans up pretty nicely -- so there's no room to hide much of anything. Only one car fits. But there is something mechanical, electrical and hydraulic hiding under the car: My Garage Website Jack Olsen 1973 Porsche 911 with a 3.6l motor that garage is impressive! lovely motor too

Jack Olsen
Why? I accept the clever engineering for the lift, but that could have bought you a bigger garage or more cars.Nice car, but is there any real need to look at its belly more than twice a year? Thanks. It's a car I track about ten times a year, so the lift is useful for brake and tire changes, if nothing else. But the car has already seen the engine come out twice in the past couple of years. And the lift itself was pretty inexpensive. I got it second-hand on Ebay for $455 (£287) -- and even with the cost of tool rental, concrete and replacement tiles, the total cost for the project was only $670 (£419). I've used it for my other cars (a Jeep CJ7 and a BMW 328i), but with its large flat top it's better suited to the 911, which has a flat belly pan where it contacts the lift. The thing gives me access to everything that's serviceable -- and when it's not in use, there's nothing to trip over. (And I'm not sure why I typed 1973 for the car, since it hasn't had a 1973 tub for about seven years. It's a 1972.)
m4ttm4son
This just highlights how much I need a garage. All my crap she keeps moaning about in the spare room could be out of her way in a garage! Some serious garage envy on yours, Jack. I could live and work in there! Who says all men are dirty/ untidy? Mook
This toy (taken at Cadwell Park): This toy (taken at Innerleithen): This toy (well, one pretty much exactly the same bar a few mods as this pic on the interweb): And another toy that I would never post a pic of on the internet, because ain't no-one finding out what it is. It's wrapped up, comes out twice a year at the most and technically it's not in my garage, but that's just semantics
