My joy is covered, but on the most part I will always be in the car when it's driven. Only 2 people I can think of I'd trust without me in it. Lovely car though, when poodling about its easy, although a bit heavy and you would have to be a total plonkr to try and drive the car beyond your limits. Don't get me wrong I don't trust it with anyone

The cops will hear you coming before they see you! Hasn't that happened before with a previous car:eek:

I like cars to be like they come out of the factory. Don't mind exhaust change and a few minor subtle changes but nothing too different.

Theres probably someone closer but these guys in Pererborough are excellent Paint Protection Film

Come on, look at yourself in a mirror and be honest with yourself, there's a sh1t load more grief if a mate totals a £20k rice burner than a £125k exotic Germanic car that can't be replaced.

As for values, I'd imagine Sam might swap for a 15 minute bash in an R8 or something with similar heritage (let's avoid the value word), but would be slightly more hesitant should the mate say swap with my lovely 208 GTi.

It's trust AND value, and skill set. There's nowt wrong with a borrow when you don't know them well, are on a track and Mr Button sparks up "can I have a go", you can ride shotgun or borrow my one off AMG black.

Good on you that you do spread the Joy, I would suggest you make sure the joy is covered by more than third party only insurance :o

I wouldn't let just anyone have a go, I'd have to know and trust them, and it's always on a 'you bend it, you mend it' agreement, but no, it wouldn't make any difference what the car cost, or what badge it was wearing.

As I keep saying, It's just a machine, it can be fixed/replaced, it doesn't have a soul, it won't get upset with me for letting someone else have a go.

Just been down the road, it's bloody loud with sport button on 119db I have heard, 106 without. Have to be very careful not to get pulled but the noise is simply Devine if you are a motor nut.

Those values are insane!! 119db on a road car?!?! Feck me!

What are you gonna do about track days or don't you do those? It's gonna be massivelly restricting. Even 106 is hight than all the tracks I can think of will allow.

I'm sure it sounds immense though! ;)

You are naughty, could you please do a sound bite when doing a tunnel, the Rotherhithe has a certain echo that will make the car sound as if it is the devil in pregnant delivery with twin elephants breach birth.

Of course, have to wait until next wk end though as I need someone to hold the camera. Hopefully the weather will be better.
