Ha ha! I just finished Clarkson & Hammond's new "The Perfect Road Trip", and all I can say is "Monaco" and "two men in a convertible" :P

That was a great bit of footage, the roads look magical, even if the car didn't. Falcons were the dominant race vehicle in Oz at that time too, culminating in the scary Bathurst munching GTHO.

Thanks for another 11 minutes of history lesson. +++

That was excellent, really well shot and edited and, again, great content. Those roads looked epic, so a shame about the CVT.

Recently watched some classic racing at Castle Combe and there were Minis and Falcons in the same race. On the striaghts, the Falcons took off, but under braking the Minis caught up and went around the Fords on the corners like a swarm of bees. To be fair, the Fords only just caught the Minis up 3/4 of the way down the straight - great racing.

You boys should be on proper TV, maybe 872 on Sky...

(A 'Classy' lady like Nigella wouldn't be seen with a man in a 'tank top' - so thanks for that too...).
