garcon magnifique
51 UNT = £40,200 Several others made five figure hammer prices too. It's a cunning stunt to get that much for it, but you'd need to be a stunning, er, fool to pay it. Ian_C
Septembers listings published, immediately got my eye on a particular plate. Coincidentally had a call today about the plate I have listed for sale.
cruiser647
I think its something like Chevrolet Tragic / Vauxhall Migraine? Which do you think is worse Jo - the plate or the car?! Only just seen this, as I have seen an even worse combo Both can go in the crusher. Someone up the road had an X-Type 2.0 diesel. Awful, awful clatter when it starts and runs, however seems they have upped their game a bit with a replacement car and 'posh' plate. I presume the lady is called H9lga sorry, Helga as the plate is H9LGA. It's also on an(other) X-Type, this time at least, it's the 2.5 V6.

I was overtaken by a Bentley Mulsanne (old style) with the plate F5* near Edinburgh on Monday. I'm not being discrete with the * I just cannot remember the last digit.

Soulboy
My old fella has just given me 4 old books from the 1970s with the alphabetical history and details of lots of interesting plates in. We used to have BTJ 1 .... hence the interest (which hasn't carried down this generation ) The foreward explains how A1 had recently sold for a massive £2500!! to raise funds for guide dogs for the blind. If anyone has any pre 1970s requests I will see if they are in.
