Ari
Cleaned the car on Wednesday and its filthy with salt off the roads cos of the freezing temperatures. So should I clean it again today to get all the salt and dirt off, or take the view that it'll be dirty again within three days so may as well leave it... SneakyMcC
What'll it cost to look at a clean car for the next day and a half? Cleaning cost div by number of hours? Worth it or not? Remember the short daylight hours and get down the car was early next time Think yourself lucky m8, we're still driving shanks pony! Ari
You are of course all quite right! Spent an hour or two giving her a damn good clean before lunch, then decided as it was a nice day, and I've not had chance since I bought her, I'd go and get some nice photos of her. Did that, then on the way home I found myself roof down, Bose on, and taking the scenic route. And I just drove and drove! God I love this car... I'll get some photos of the my new baby up in the gallery later when the camera battery has recharged.

Guest john_wintle
Best to wash it as often as you can and especially in this weather where there are all manner of nasties on the roads, which all contribute to dull the finish of your car. Also remember to jet wash underneath the car as well if you can. CAR WASH!!! Are you mad! Repent please... John.

And yeah it is an automated one too They Jetwash, then brush by hand, then you drive through a foam spraying hoop followed by a water spray that rinces the grit off before going into the nasty ROLLLLERS What would this do to a ragtop? Assuming you have no heart and soul whatsoever though, obviously!!!

s4dreamer
I didn't clean the R last weekend, 'cos there was a North wind blowing across our drive and I know that my hands would've been like icicles at the end of it. That's the first week I've not washed it in nearly 4 months of owenership! However, I have to say that it got on my nerves last week as it really was filthy, so in the end I washed it on Saturday afternoon, and it looks as good as new again now - I'm so glad I made the effort. A3Floyd
I've cleaned mine about 3 times this week! it's just getting so caked in salt and grime that i can barely see the original paint underneath. I dont think i'll bother now though, cos as soon as i drive down the road, it's filthy again either that or i can clean mine and use the missus's Yaris whilst the roads are dirty
