paulyb
Guys Quick question - I know the standard RS4 mirrors don't electrically fold but someone's just told me that they won't manually fold either - is this right? It will be a tight sqeeze through the garage door at night if this is the case in a few months. Cheers Paul
Daz
Nope they don't fold at all on the saloon or avant.

Merlot
Indeed - the mirrors on the cab are the standard ones.

paulyb
Ian - I know what you mean, in my case the drive and the garage itself aren't the problem. But in their infinate wisdom whoever built the house decided that the garage door itself should be only 2050 mil across. I'll be able to get it in when I buy the RS4 but it may turn into a two people job to be safe. Strangely though it doesn't seem to be enogh to put me off! [/ QUOTE ] WTF So the RS4 is crap again because it does not have folding mirrors [/ QUOTE ] You said it this time. Its all about personal choice. Wide car with nice mirrors that don't fold in = problems with some garages. That's all.

Where was that? I thought the roof lining had to be different for an OEM sunroof retrofit?

TDiAvant
That's one retrofit, I would never consider doing, how can you guarantee it won't leak/rust, and it's not like you can put the metal back in. Also if it all goes t!ts up then your 40/50K RS4 is fecked...
