how to wreck a range rover

I guess it helps that I'm one of the few who secretly quite likes the look of the Evoque!

It had wide arches, a bit like an 80's rally car!

I've heard it all now - Posh Spice will be reeling at the thought of it, her ultimate car design bastardised !!!  :coffee:

Did I ever tell the tale of her being stuck in RR Autobiography at Stansted? Cue panic stations and a very embarrassed look towards me hehehe

Saw something truly hideous on the way into work today - a Porsche Cayenne with a bodykit and badging from XCLUSIVE on the back of it, cheap and nasty didn't quite cut it. To be honest, £4k for the whole kit including bumpers, skirts, arches, wings, bonnet and spoiler doesn't bode well.... lol!

Some superb advertising copy on that website:

Our Xclusive Wide Arch for the Porsche Cayenne has no equal.

Very true, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite so awful.

Its aggressive lines turn inquisitive heads wherever it goes.

And a fair few stomachs too, I dare say*

With this kit fitted, regular journeys become a thing of the past.

Mainly because you'll be too embarrassed to be seen in it :coffee:

*credits for that one to Blackadder the Third

I really scared myself with that link - its so bad, I would worry about bits falling off it whilst driving. Mixed in between worrying that people would crash into me whilst vomiting and driving...

nowhere near as bad as the one owned by the local Sheik hotelier though, he has his name where it would say Range Rover, and lots of tacky gold all over it.

Gulzar?

Ha ha, stupid hotelier. I saved the cost and also kept my car original by simply changing my name to Mr Landrover Discovery!

Gulzar?

Yup, he of much tacky car ruining and Pistonheads.

Think it says 'GULZAR EDITION' across the back.

Tamara Ecclestone has her name splashed across the front of her Range...

Yes, but would it be worth splashing all over her on the front of her Range Rover..?

Just followed a white RR on the M62 with the numberplate D1CKY and ONE DEGREE across the boot in place of the usual RR wording?!

There's a custom Range Rover Sport that often parks near the Waitrose where I get my lunch.  I'm not sure which firm customised it, I'm usually too busy laughing at its ridiculousness to remember the badge that is stuck on the front.

It was there again today - it's a "REVERE" edition in bright red with black trimmings.  Never has a branding been less appropriate.

Couldn't get a clear shot of it today but will keep trying.
