NewNiceMrMe
See, I don't get that plate. He has a fabulous car and he chooses to chav it up with an illegally spaced number plate? I think they look shite and scream desperation for attention. If he spaced it normally it'd look good and classy - instead of naff and chavvy. I completely agree - I simply don't get why anyone would spend money on a seven digit plate like the above two examples And then mis-space it? How to ruin a nice car - put a cheap plate on it! (obviously there are seven digit exceptions like OOO7OOO, WH15TLE, MC14REN etc etc - definitely NOT cheap!) If you are going to put a plate on a nice car, make sure it either starts with letters and ends with numbers, or vice versa starts with numbers and ends with letters This is just my opinion, I'm a plate snob, and I can totally understand how people might think these 'pre 63 style' dateless plates are pretentious and also scream for attention One of the most expensive I've seen for a while, a current shape Range Rover wearing 1JW drove past me Sunday, now that's a proper plate!
M8CKN
I saw 1 FA on an Evoque today. Worth more than the car I'll bet.
JonC
Last year I saw 1D on a Bentley. That would be defined as a pricey plate, I'm sure.

E-bmw
So, is CC's wife or wife's car called John & who is VALMCM?
Ian_C
It makes more sense if you know what Chris's surname is! Chris's wife might be tall, but she definitely ain't called John! Most people in the street though are just going to think the car is a 2011 and was first registered wearing VA11 MCM
billy2shots
Not exactly expensive but i saw a nice plate this morning. UC11BMX White BMW 1 series with an extendable bike rack. On the rack was BMX (looked high end) and some bags of bike equipment. With the 1's on reg plates looking like I's and the illegal spacing, the plate read.
