PetrolDave
[ QUOTE ] I think I will go for the satnav option, really not sure about the seats though. I'd appreciate anyone elses thoughts on them both in terms of comfort and re-sale. [/ QUOTE ] We drove an RS4 with the bucket seats and decided NOT to order them - went for the no-cost option Recaros instead. Why? Three reasons: 1) the bucket seats have very thin padding and for someone like me with a back problem they are just too uncomfortable - I was getting twinges after a 45 minute test drive, so they would be useless for me on a long journey. 2) the sides of the bucket seats are so high that there's no way my wife could get in and out with any decorum when wearing a long evening dress (the RS4 will be our every day car). 3) when you have the bucket seats you get Valcona leather, and compared to the Silk Nappa leather in our S4 that feels hard and looks more like plastic than leather. With the Recaros you can choose Silk Nappa leather. IMHO the bucket seats will be a "must have" for some people, and a "can't live with" for others - I don't think they'll have much if any effect on re-sale price in the long term. P.S. I'm swapping out the satnav and Bluetooth from my S4 - don't see any point in paying Audi again for the sat nav since the trade-in price I was offered was the same with sat nav or Symphony II. DHA
On the SatNav front, when I traded my S4 back to Audi dealers they would not touch an S4 without it.

Phantom
Just noticed that Audi UK have removed the RS4 option from their 'used car locator' section of their website. I used it at the weekend to look at the Daytona Grey one at Listers Coventry (2k miles and £58k) Audi worried about second hand RS4s entering the Audi used car network so soon after launch ?, It has also disappeared from Lister's inventory list, guess it has been sold already

[/ QUOTE ] I think they are great cars but £50000+ IMO is too much for the RS4, i think £45000 + options would of been about right for that kind of car.
