Will22
Could they have taken a worse picture of the car, I think not.
SneakyMcC
I've not seen the Q7 the flesh, but I think it looks quite good(ish). I cant, from pictures and the telly see why folk it ugly. The head lamp in the pic looks a bit BMW 5 series tho? Again, a car that I quite like
Drillslinger
Dude, in the flesh it's just as "Confusing" From some angles you can't help but like it, but then you turn your head a bit and it's like... UGH!! The interior's nice though I got "Locked In" the Hybrid @ Frankfurt and I thought it was done well. Typical Audi
richy_uk
I saw a Q7 in the flesh this week. It was in the Audi dealer in Madrid which is next door to a Land Rover Dealer. I ran back and forth between the 2 to compare the Q7 with a RR sport. The Q7 seemed massive. It just looks like a really big jacked up allroad. I think the RR sport hides its size well. Tarmac_Terrorist
Saw a Q7 in the flesh yesterday near Milton Keynes. It was a German registered model. It followed me for several miles then overtook and I followed it for a few more. I'm not a fan of any 4x4's but I have to say it looked superb In my opinion, it was well proportioned all round, had good presence and certainly seemed to have loads of grunt! Much nicer than the boxy Range Rover & BMW alternatives yet didn't just look like an Audi on stilts as I believe the Cayenne does for Porsche. I reckon we'll see quite a few on the roads in a few more months time.
Merlot
I agree - in the 'flesh' it looks excellent, not too big at all.
Sponge
I've seen 3 in my local area recently. Two of which regularly seen outside a gym which is used mainly by the local bouncers and 'unsavoury characters'.
P_G
I like it, but as said from certain angles. Big problem though, they've associated it with David Beckham, sales are going to go to sh!t now!
Will22
I'm getting p!ssed off with mine, I've lost two parking spaces by getting the bloody thing
ahaydock
[ QUOTE ] I'm getting p!ssed off with mine, I've lost two parking spaces by getting the bloody thing [/ QUOTE ]How hard is it to park? Having had a good drive in one I can imagine it can be a real pain. Sometimes I worry the spaces are too small for my A3 so I hate to think what a Q7 would be like! Chav
Nice interior and typical good Audi build quality, but for some reason they remind me of a hamster on stilts.
DanG
Waiting for deliver of Q7 3.6 V6. Black S-line with black leather interior, Tech Pack, Nav, rear camera.... didnt bother with the 7 seat upgrade, but every other option possible.... inc factory tints, heated everything and dimming mirrors. Chuffed! Be my first really luxury car. Getting it for £29k inc taxes and tags (in the US). Cant wait. Touareg is being part exed for about £9k !! with 27k miles on an 04 V6 fully loaded model. Why are cars so expensive in the UK?! I could never afford to spend £50k on a depreciating 'asset'....
P_G
Saw one of those yesterday with 20" RS4 reps and S-Line kit, looked menacing.
Se5aScott
[ QUOTE ] Why are cars so expensive in the UK?! I could never afford to spend £50k on a depreciating 'asset'.... [/ QUOTE ] I found the same with a rangie, uk list on a std model was 30k more than the us price for the same model fully specced. Ok the dollar is weak at the moment and nobody in the uk pays list but you try getting a 30k discount Edit: Aaah thats why they are called stealers...
