Ian_C
I bid on 1975 AB (birth year and initials) yesterday. Clearly there are a lot of people with the same initials as me that are 40 this year as it went for £4800 inc VAT and hammer fee! And I wasn't prepared to go that high for a plate that is ok but not brilliant. I had a very quick scan of the prices the day the auction finished whilst I was away on holiday, but I forgot to see what yours went for. shao_khan
There's a Porsche that I see at the school up the road - J4MES. I saw a Ferrari once with that plate facing the wrong way around on a dual carriageway near Silverstone, obviously on its way home after Grandprix weekend. This was a good few years ago, notoriously slippery piece of road if its just been wet, so unlucky driver
